Argent appointed to the European Commission

Argent has just been appointed to the maintenance contract for the European Commission, 32 Smith Square, London. The building has just been newly refurbished and Argent won the maintenance contract through the OJEU tendering process.

Alongside the other shortlisted candidates Argent were invited to a site visit to view the assets and to formulate a contract plan. Part of the client’s specification was that a computer aided facilities management system should support the contract and ensure that all data is accurate, transparent and accessible by the client. Argent has been using an industry leading CAFM – TABS for the last five years across all its contracts and we were able to draw on this experience to demonstrate its capabilities.

Argent was successful at the second stage, the decision being made by their Head Office in Brussels and were awarded the contract for three years with the option of a further extension of two years.
