The Argent team enjoys working face to face with customers. Through collaboration with the client, we know we can develop ‘best value’ solutions that will optimise budgets and build and maintain services that perform efficiently over the long term.

Argent has worked with high profile organisations including the Palace of Westminster, Houses of Parliament and the Embassy of the United States, as well as museums, libraries, hospitals, prisons, community care centres and children’s centres for over 20 years. We understand the challenges posed with providing ‘mission critical’ services and our service standard agreements reflect this.

We work directly with architects, consultants, building services managers, managing agents, commercial estate agents, as well as school bursars and school managers.

Argent works across all London Boroughs and the Home Counties serving clients from the following sectors:

Public sector:

  • Hospital Trusts.
  • Government (Palace of Westminster etc).
  • Museums.
  • Prisons and secure facilities.
  • Embassies.
  • Schools: private and state.
  • Colleges and universities.
  • Libraries.
  • Council offices.

Private sector:

  • Large residential buildings including mansion flats, tenements.
  • Commercial office campus sites.
  • Commercial premises.
  • Retail, including high profile flagship stores.
  • Banks.
  • Private clubs.
  • Insurance/property companies.

Listed and historic buildings

We are unusual in that we actively seek out projects which have added challenges and require sensitive treatment.

As a London based company we have been privileged to work in some of the most important buildings in the UK. Maintaining the fabric and services of an historic building add a further dimension, which make a project both interesting and challenging.

We believe we can make a real difference for clients who work in sensitive and historic environments – our tasks have ranged from moving a high value stock of vintage port to replacing worn out services in an art deco mansion block.
